Welcome to Clarendon Hills

An award-winning village with a warm, welcoming community

Clarendon Hills, Illinois, is a suburb of the Chicago area and has many great amenities, including restaurants, coffee shops, and parks. Niche.com has also voted it as the number one place and best suburb to live in the state of Illinois and the #14th best suburb to raise a family in the entirety of the United States.

Initially founded in 1924, Clarendon Hills became known as the “volunteer community” as many services such as libraries, fire departments, and local parks were run by volunteers, something that still holds true today. The community in this village is tight-knit, and people look out for one another, making it an excellent space for all.

Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

There is no worry about finding great food and shopping when it comes to Clarendon Hills. The Country House, originally built in 1922, has been a staple for great food and drinks, and their country burger was even voted Chicago’s favorite burger by The Chicago Tribune. A newer venture, The Little Creperie, serves authentic French-style crepes, both savory and sweet. This gem brings European flavors to Illinois with imported jams, spreads, chocolates, and more.

The Standard Market is so much more than just a market. Of course, you can get your groceries there, but they are also home to The Standard Market Grill, a wine and cheese bar, a sushi and poke bar, a pizza and sandwich shop, and a taco stand. Come for dinner and lunch, and pick up some things for the house while you’re at it. Clarendon Hills is also home to two of everyone’s favorite coffee shops, Starbucks. Always the perfect place for a quick cup of coffee and a bite to eat, whether you’re on the go or hanging with friends.
