Johnny Kloster was born and raised in Hinsdale, and his family has an extensive history there spanning five generations. His great great grandfather was one of the founders of Hinsdale and had the first hardware store in town. It's safe to say he has extensive knowledge and love for Hinsdale and can speak to just how amazing it is to live there.

The lifestyle in Hinsdale is upscale suburban. There are tons of restaurants and boutiques in the village as well as many well-maintained parks. The village has terrific transportation with three train stops giving easy access to the downtown area and the city of Chicago. 

 

The houses in Hinsdale range from modern to historic but offer plenty of space and elegance. Many mansions reside in the village, which adds to the overall aesthetic and charm.

Altamura is an Italian specialty shop that makes authentic cuisine with pizza crusts imported straight from the Puglia region of Italy. Fuller House is a local bar that has been voted the number one neighborhood bar in the western suburbs. Hinsdale has a slew of different activities year-round that the supportive and strong community loves to attend. The annual Christmas Walk is a night full of fun. This is a fun event for the whole family, from tree lighting and Santa’s arrival to train rides and caroling! Another kind of walk, The Kitchen House Walk, allows you to visit several esteemed Hinsdale homes and view their stunning interiors. 

 

The streets come alive during Uniquely Thursdays, a summer concert series that runs for ten consecutive weeks during the summer months on, you guessed it, Thursday nights. You will experience live music from amazing bands and delicious food from a variety of vendors. The Mr. Hinsdale Homecoming Parade travels through downtown Hinsdale every year, and this spectacular event brings the whole community out to get in the spirit!
